Hi David, I read that Raspberry Pi's are (like almost everything else) vulnerable to the well publicised Krack WIFI exploit. Is there a way to patch your rather excellent product to fix this? I'm alright with ssh etc if thats required but not a proper Linux boffin!
Cheers
Krack WIFI Exploit
Re: Krack WIFI Exploit
Hi,
this is a question for OS Raspbian developers. I have found some info here:

Re: Krack WIFI Exploit
i did see that and a few other sites that mention raspbian Jessie (what it appears PiTherm is built on) has fixed this in recent updates. just wondered if you were going to release a new image with this patch installed or recommend a procedure.
currently i'm considering creating a backup SD Card image, then updating with "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -y" over SSH

Re: Krack WIFI Exploit
well, according to OS Raspbian community, the "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -y" should solve the problem, so I strongly recommend to update/upgrade your OS.
We will include the update to the next release (next month).
